Member of the BAR Association since 1993, he is also lecturer of both European Union Law and International Law at University of Bergamo since 2011. He provides legal advice mainly in corporate transactions (such as acquisitions, mergers, demergers, spin-offs), with a special focus on cross-borders transactions. Thanks to his specialization in International Trade Law, International Economy Law and Competition Law Stefano is highly qualified to support both the internationalization process of Italian companies and the investments in Italy of foreign companies. His long term experience in supporting entrepreneurs led Stefano to provide his assistance in corporate governance matters, relations between shareholders and corporate finance transactions. In this regard and as a logical consequence of his relevant expertise in corporate finance Stefano has gained significant experience in terms of restructuring the debt of the companies, particularly with reference to extra-judicial procedures and the application of innovative financial instruments. Furthermore, he assists clients in pathological stages of business relationships, which often result in national or international corporate litigation and arbitration, as well as ADR procedures. Due to his expertise in arbitration disputes Stefano was often appointed member of Arbitration Panels, including International Chamber of Commerce Panel. The economic sectors where he gained more experience are textile, retail, chemical, energy, mechanical, automotive, real estate, logistics, retail distribution, press and publishing sectors. He obtained a PhD in International Law at the University of Milan, a Master in International Relations at the Italian Society for International Organization. Stefano is also registered in the Register of Auditors.
